Breastfeeding Bliss @ KLCC

Kebetulan masa tengah shopping kat Toy's 'R' us, Aisyah menangis2 minta susu, so kami kelam kabut cari the nearest suitable spot to BF, nampak ada arrow ke changing room so kami iktu je arrow tu dan akhirnya sampai ke sini ::

PARENTS ROOM cum BREASTFEEDING ROOM @ KLCC CONCOURSE LEVEL

Changing Section ::

Breatfeeding Section ::

Saya beranikan diri membuka pintu toilet, tak sempat nak buka tetiba pintu tu terbuka sendiri..huhu lagi la seram..

Tiba2 terlihat lah susuk tubuh seorang wanita berbaju putih dan bertudung putih keluar dari toilet..kami terkejut dan dia pun terkejut..rupa2nya dia adalah cleaner kat situ..ntah apa dibuatnya lama2 dalam toilet bilik tu..mengular la tu kot..hehehe

Toilet pun not bad ::

Comel je ada 2 bowl :; oe for adult and one for kids.. :)

Nasib baik saya tak sempat nak snap muka akak cleaner tu..dia pun terkedu tgk ada org dlm Parents Room tu..huhuhu..

Review tentang Parents Room KLCC :;

Sangat selesa dan sangat memuaskan hati.Kalau orang tak ramai..memang selesa duk dalam tu lama2, nak tidur pun boleh kot..hehehe.Cuma cons nya ialah takde disediakan cot macam kat Alamanda dan SOGO ada disediakan baby cot, andaikata baby tertisdur dan ibu nak berehat so bole letak kat dalam cot tu.Tapi mungkin sebab pihak pengurusan expect yang semua parents hari ni can afford strollers.But again kalau diorg concern dengan isu semasa, tentu diorang tahu yang lately kesedaran tentang babywearing (using sling/pouch/or etc) instead of stroller dah meningkat dan penggunaan sking ni lebih practical berbanding stroller.

Teringin nak suruh Kauthar pi duk dalam kereta tu and kami amik pics tapi tak tau macam mana nak masuk sebab keliling dah kena gate.

Lepas penat2 perjalan2 tu kami singgah pi pekena ni ::

3 LAYER TEA :: sungguh sedapppppp...tak terkata,.Plan nak makan mee udang, tapi habis semua selera tertumpah ke 3LT ni..2 kali sedut terus habis..hehehe.Harga RM4.80 kat Signature Food Court. :)

Kauthar makan Dory fillet dgn chips.Pastu bengan sebab ibu dgn ayah tumpang makan dory fillet tu sampai tinggal separuh..hehehe

9 happy months

30 March lepas genaplah Aisyah Mardhiyyah berumur 9 bulan.

Hanya melalui BF la saya dapat berikan something yg terbaik untuk dia (dan juga Kauthar) for the rest of their life.Saya bangga dengan pencapaian saya (walaupun ia tak seberapa) kerana saya yang tahu betapa getir perjalanan menyusu/BF saya.Hari ini melihat anak2 saya terkejar2 bila nampak saya atau B saya..saya rasa happy sgt2..anak2 sy umpama tak boleh tidur/hidup kalu tak dapat cling kat B saya..itulah gunanya B ni ALLAH jadikan..barulah saya rasakan B saya berbakti/dan berguna.Selama ni ia macam sekadar ada kat sini tanpa mempunyai peranan penting..hari ini ia 'nadi' anak saya.TQ my B :)

Jom tengok gambar2 Aisyah Mardhiyyah sepanjang 9 bulan ,8 bulan la..sebab gambar latest umo 9 bulan takde.

Birth :: 3.01 kg :: admitted to NICU.Kat sini la peristiwa kecewa berlaku di mana staff NICU feed my girl with FM.Swaddle hiJau ni standard swaddle kat Serdang Hospital's NICU

30 days old :: 5.5 kg

33 days :: admitted to NICU again due to pneumonia+ doctor misprescribe ubat batuk.

2 months old :: baru discharged dari ward, terus cukur kepala.

3 months old

4 months old :: dah start consume AGEL n dah stop dari kena warded selalu, Alhamdulillah

6 months old

7 months old :: EXO tu fevret dia, sama la dgn Kauthar.

Feeding choice for infants

The WHO and UNICEF recommend the following feeding choices for infants, in order of preference:

1. breastmilk directly from mother's breast
2. expressed breastmilk from the infant's mother
3. donor breastmilk
4. appropriate breastmilk substitute

UNICEF, accessed Oct, 2005

***3. donor breastmilk (ibu susuan : directly atau by EBM )

nak selit::

sebelum arwah opah saya meninggal saya sempat sembang dengan dia tentang hal menyusu anak2.Sebab saya nak korek ape2 ilmu penyusuan dari super-veterans mommy.
Opah saya cerita, dulu lepas je lahirkan anak 1st (ayah saya) nurse suruh bagi susu tin.Saya heran sangat sebab zaman dulu pun dah ada susu tin and nape sejak dahulu kala lagi mentality kite dah dijajah dengan susu substitute of breastmilk..?

Moral of the story :;

  1. Jangan bagi anak susu condensed milk !! (rasenye takde org buat yg ni lg kan)
  2. Jangan jadi orang tak berilmu.Arwah opah saya tu memang la tak salah sebab zaman dia dulu mana la nak cari ilmu penyusuan dah la family pun tak kuat nak suruh BF, pastu arwah tak reti baca sebab zaman dia dulu zaman Jepun.
  3. Cari lah ilmu penyusuan banyak2 sebelum melahirkan anak.
  4. Malu bertanya sesat jalan..

Maafkan saya kerana merapu meraban...

Why are Jews so powerful?

Why are Jews so powerful?

By: Dr Farrukh Saleem
(The writer is an Islamabad-based freelance columnist)

There are only 14 million Jews in the world; seven million in the Americas, five million in Asia, two million in Europe and 100,000 in Africa. For every single Jew in the world there are 100 Muslims. Yet, Jews are more than a hundred times more powerful than all the Muslims put together. Ever wondered why?

Jesus of Nazareth was Jewish.

Albert Einstein, the most influential scientist of all time and TIME magazine's 'Person of the Century', was a Jew.

Sigmund Freud -- id, ego, and superego -- the father of psychoanalysis was a Jew.

So were Karl Marx, Paul Samuelson and Milton Friedman.

Here are a few other Jews whose intellectual output has enriched the whole humanity:

Benjamin Rubin gave humanity the vaccinating needle.

Jonas Salk developed the first polio vaccine.

Alert Sabin developed the improved live polio vaccine.

Gertrude Elion gave us a leukaemia fighting drug.

Baruch Blumberg developed the vaccination for Hepatitis B.

Paul Ehrlich discovered a treatment for syphilis (a sexually transmitted disease).

Elie Metchnikoff won a Nobel Prize in infectious diseases.

Bernard Katz won a Nobel Prize in neuromuscular transmission.

Andrew Schally won a Nobel in endocrinology (disorders of the endocrine system; diabetes, hyperthyroidism)...

Aaron Beck founded Cognitive Therapy (psychotherapy to treat mental disorders, depression and phobias).

Gregory Pincus developed the first oral contraceptive pill.

George Wald won a Nobel for furthering our understanding of the human eye.

Stanley Cohen won a Nobel in embryology (study of embryos and their development). Willem Kolff came up with the kidney dialysis machine.

Over the past 105 years, 14 million Jews have won 15-dozen Nobel Prizes while

only three Nobel Prizes have been won by 1.4 billion Muslims (other than Peace Prizes).

Why are Jews so powerful?

Stanley Mezor invented the first micro-processing chip.

Leo Szilard developed the first nuclear chain reactor.

Peter Schultz, optical fibre cable;

Charles Adler, traffic lights;

Benno Strauss, Stainless steel;

Isador Kisee sound movies;

Emile Berliner, telephone microphone and

Charles Ginsburg, videotape recorder.

Famous financiers in the business world who belong to Jewish faith include

Ralph Lauren (Polo),

Levis Strauss (Levi's Jeans),

HowardSchultz (Starbuck's),

Sergey Brin (Google),

Michael Dell (Dell Computers),

Larry Ellison (Oracle),

Donna Karan (DKNY),

Irv Robbins (Baskin & Robbins) and

Bill Rosenberg (Dunkin Donuts).

Richard Levin, President of Yale University, is a Jew.

So are Henry Kissinger (American secretary of state), Alan Greenspan (fed chairman under Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush), Joseph Lieberman, Madeleine Albright (American secretary of state), Maxim Litvinov (USSR foreign Minister), David Marshal (Singapore's first chief minister), Isaac Isaacs (Governor General of Australia), Benjamin Disraeli (British statesman and author), Yevgeny Primakov (Russian PM), Jorge Sampaio (President of Portugal), Herb Gray (Canadian deputy PM), Pierre Mendes (French PM), Michael Howard (British home secretary), Bruno Kreisky (chancellor of Austria) and Robert Rubin (former American secretary of treasury).

In the media, famous Jews include Wolf Blitzer (CNN), Barbara Walters (ABC News), Eugene Meyer (Washington Post), Henry Grunwald (editor-in-chief Time), Katherine Graham (publisher of The Washington Post), Joseph Lelyyeld (Executive editor, The New York Times), and MaxFrankel (New York Times).

Can you name the most beneficent philanthropist in the history of the world? The name is George Soros, a Jew, who has so far donated a colossal $4 billion most of which has gone as aid to scientists and universities around the world. Second to George Soros is Walter Annenberg, another Jew, who has built a hundred libraries by donating an estimated $2 billion.

At the Olympics, Mark Spitz set a record of sorts by winning seven gold medals. Lenny Krayzelburg is a three- time Olympic gold medallist. Spitz, Krayzelburg and Boris Becker are all Jewish.

Did you know that Harrison Ford, George Burns, Tony Curtis, Charles Bronson, Sandra Bullock, Billy Crystal, Woody Allen, Paul Newman, Peter Sellers, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Douglas, Ben Kingsley, Kirk Douglas, William Shatner, Jerry Lewis and Peter Falk are all Jewish?

As a matter of fact, Hollywood itself was founded by a Jew. Among directors and producers, Steven Spielberg, Mel Brooks, Oliver Stone, Aaron Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210), Neil Simon (The Odd Couple), Andrew Vaina (Rambo 1/2/3), Michael Man (Starsky and Hutch), Milos Forman (One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest), Douglas Fairbanks (The thief of Baghdad) and Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) are all Jewish.

To be certain, Washington is the capital that matters and in Washington the lobby that matters is The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC. Washington knows that if PM Ehud Olmert were to discover that the earth is flat, AIPAC will make the 109th Congress pass a resolution congratulating Olmert on his discovery.

William James Sidis, with an IQ of 250-300, is the brightest human who ever existed. Guess what faith did he belong to?

So, why are Jews so powerful?
Answer: Education.

Why are Muslims so powerless?

There are an estimated 1,476,233,470 Muslims on the face of the planet: one billion in Asia, 400 million in Africa, 44 million in Europe and six million in the Americas. Every fifth human being is a Muslim; for every single Hindu there are two Muslims, for every Buddhist there are two Muslims and for every Jew there are one hundred Muslims.

Ever wondered why Muslims are so powerless?

Here is why:

There are 57 member-countries of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), and all of them put together have around 500 universities; one university for every three million Muslims. The United States has 5,758 universities and India has 8,407. In 2004, Shanghai Jiao Tong University compiled an 'Academic Ranking of World Universities', and intriguingly, not one university from Muslim-majority states was in the top-500.

As per data collected by the UNDP, literacy in the Christian world stands at nearly 90 per cent and 15 Christian- majority states have a literacy rate of 100 per cent. A Muslim-majority state, as a sharp contrast, has an average literacy rate of around 40 per cent and there is no Muslim-majority state with a literacy rate of 100 per cent. Some 98 per cent of the 'literates' in the Christian world had completed primary school, while less than 50 per cent of the 'literates' in the Muslim world did the same. Around 40 per cent of the 'literates' in the Christian world attended university while no more than two per cent of the 'literate s' in the Muslim world did the same.

Muslim-majority countries have 230 scientists per one million Muslims. The US has 4,000 scientists per million and Japan has 5,000 per million. In the entire Arab world, the total number of full-time researchers is 35,000 and there are only 50 technicians per one million Arabs (in the Christian world there are up to 1,000 technicians per one million). Furthermore, the Muslim world spends 0.2 per cent of its GDP on research and development, while the Christian world spends around five per cent of its GDP.

Conclusion:

The Muslim world lacks the capacity to produce knowledge.

Daily newspapers per 1,000 people and number of book titles per million are two indicators of whether knowledge is being diffused in a society. In Pakistan, there are 23 daily newspapers per 1,000 Pakistanis while the same ratio in Singapore is 360. In the UK, the number of book titles per million stands at 2,000 while the same in Egypt is 20.

Conclusion: The Muslim world is failing to diffuse knowledge.

Exports of high technology products as a percentage of total exports are an important indicator of knowledge application. Pakistan's exports of high technology products as a percentage of total exports stands at one per cent. The same for Saudi Arabia is 0.3 per cent; Kuwait, Morocco, and Algeria are all at 0.3 per cent while Singapore is at 58 percent.

Conclusion: The Muslim world is failing to apply knowledge.

Why are Muslims powerless?

Because we aren't producing knowledge.

Why are Muslims powerless?

Because we aren't diffusing knowledge.

Why are Muslims powerless?

Because we aren't applying knowledge.

And, the future belongs to knowledge-based societies.

Interestingly, the combined annual GDP of 57 OIC-countries is under $2 trillion. America, just by herself, produces goods and services worth $12 trillion; China $8 trillion, Japan $3.8 trillion and Germany $2.4 trillion (purchasing power parity basis).

Oil rich Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar collectively produce goods and services (mostly oil) worth $500 billion; Spain alone produces goods and services worth over $1 trillion, Catholic Poland $489 billion and Buddhist Thailand $545 billion. (Muslim GDP as a percentage of world GDP is fast declining).

So, why are Muslims so powerless?

Answer: Lack of education!

Family Gathering 2008

On 20 December 2008 we had a family gathering for family of Rafidah binti Yeop (the great grand mother of Arif Kauthar and Aisyah Mardhiyyah,mommy's grandma on her mom's side.)We have had a wonderful moments there,.Meanwhile mommy still cannot resist to feel upset since the family gathering was held 2 weeks after our beloved Oyang demised on 9 December.We are still cannot accept that Oyang has demised but for everyone's good,life must go on and should be better than before.

Day 1 - 20 December

There were lots of happy moments during the gathering especially for Arif Kauthar.The most unforgettable moment was when the boat that we ride on with another 6 family members broke down on the sea,the boat engine hit a coral reef and it went off about 2KM from the seashore!!Mommy was really cool at first 20 minutes but turned panic when the boat cannot be started 30minutes after,while Aisyah was left at the sea shore with Wah.Only me,mommy and Kauthar was on the boat with other family members.Aisyah was left with Wah since to bring her along,she cannot wear the life jacket :).Mommy was panicked,she afraid that Aisyah will cry for milk while her milk was far away on the sea...huhuhu.Arif Kauthar fall asleep 5 minutes after the boat stopped,thats good because he didnt feel the panick environment on the boat.Things worsen when none of us bring handphone on the ride.Luckily there was a fisherman's boat saw us stucked there and he called for a tow-boat..hahaha!!Imagine a boat towed by another boat.However that precious moment hasn't been recorded none snapped since there was no one bring HP nor digicam.Too bad..Alhamdulillah we safely being brought to the shore.Many of our family members whom their hubby@wifey was on the boat waiting at the shore with suspense.

We finally reached the shore during the sunset...we stucked on the boat for 1.5 hours

Another thing was about our brilliant son Arif Kauthar.He refused to get into the sea,he cried so loud untill his face turned red.

Arif Kauthar refused to enter the sea water

That was quite strange because he actually loves swimming ,however that is the first time he swims at the sea.All this while he swimmed at the swimming pool.

Arif Kauthar penat lepas tantrum takmo masuk dalam air..

At night,mommy turned a bit unhealthy,she claimed that she is having ocean-sickness when the boat stucked on the sea.She vomits and refused to eat(just like the early trimester of pregnancy-oopss we still didn't perform the UPT to confirm this..)

Mommy at that night before she turns nauseous

Aisyah with Tok Nek(her great-grandmother).She wasnt asleep but she blinked her eye during the cam flash

Arif Kauthar with his beloved Makngah.

Before we went to sleep..Aisyah tengah nak susu tu.

DAY 2 - 21 December

USRATINA-at the morning of the 2nd day.Sume tunggu turn nak mandi

After having a morning bath at the sea,we planned to go to the Ostrich Farm.Here are some piccas of our visit to the PD OSTRICH PARK .We tried the ostrich satay,its delicious :)

Sebenarnya nak bergambar close-up dengan ostrich tu tapi ostrich tu active asik jalan je..

A non-professional handwork..ostrich tak pandang cam pun gi snap gaks..

After having lunch we return to the bungalow and have a nap.At the evening once again we tried to bring Kauthar into the sea water.Unlike the day before,he willingly entered the water but this time he doesnt wear the life jacket,he wears the regular float plus the arms float.We left him with his Makngah and his other aunties while we(me and mommy) had the canoe activity.

Kauthar loves swimming :)

Mommy,Me,Kauthar,Aunt Shamsiah,Syuhada and Syazwan

Mommy is an expert canoe rider,she canoes since 14 years old.That day she was the one who taught her uncles and cousins on the correct way to canoe.

Canoe with love :).See there Kauthar was swimming with his auties

Canoe race with mommy's uncle-we had a little accident but we didnt turn upside down.

The far canoe - me and mommy, the close-to-shore canoe : mommy's uncle and cousin.They surrendered after the accident.

Continue canoeing with mommy :)

At night we had a barbecue lead by mommy's cousin.He prepared some delicacies for all family members.However Arif Kauthar already fall asleep at 8pm so he didnt participate the barbecue session.

The uncles showing skills on barbecue.The result was excellent :)

Preparing the barbecue's stuff.....look at Wah(Wah jaga Ibukauthar sejak umo 6moth old sampai 8 thn) and Syazwan(The closest cousin)

DAY 3 - 22 December

The last day of gathering.We headed to KL at 10am,convoyed with another 6 cars.Everyone was having a very good time in those short moment.We planned to held a 2009 gathering in Pangkor Laut.

P/S :Mommy/ibukauthar is currently having severe Chikungunya,she only laid on bed for the whole day.I hired a temporary nurse to attend her needs.Pleas pray for her to regain health as soon as possible.Apart of that,her milk drops drastically...dunno what to do..
